Looks cool for sig, How do you use it on this forum?
I love minecarts.
The way boosters work is that when two minecarts get right next to each other they overlap and push each other. When going against each other this makes them stop; however, when together they get a sudden increase of speed.
We would have boosters spread out across the rail and an automated booster launch; by pressing a button you would release a booster that would send you down the rail and reset itself.

I like the idea of a minecart system, its just I think Notch is eventually going to fix boosters, and then then the whole thing would have to be retrofitted and might just become a big mess.
Quote:
From his twitter:
Mine cart boosters (fix or alternative):
track02: "After finishing my fully automatic Minecart Station - Will the minecart booster glitch stay in the final version? Hope so..."
Notch: "well, people like it.."
track02: "Great, so 10 hours building were not useless! Doublestack-Autoresetting Mindcart Boosting Station FTW! <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>"
Notch: "no promises, though! They look extremely silly.."
Also, from one of the MinecraftCon interviews:
Jauntycap: Are you gonna make a kind of track that pulls up, you know, how you would on a roller coast, the kind of track that pulls you up. Or just stick with the powered minecart.
Notch: Yeah, I might do that. There's a bit of overlap between those and the powered minecarts. I'm not sure which one is best to have.

Go ahead and build em.

If he fixes boosters, we can use the craftbook system that we have installed.
Alternatively, we can install a server version of Minecart Mania or AutoCart.

Alright then, subways are in. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":-p">:-p</object>
There is currently an Espero City-Metropolis subway in development; when it is done I will give your faction a tour and let everybody ride it back and forth.
Sounds good.
