Okay, honestly, I've never seen someone who has never been able to install a texture pack, no offense. xD

Let's start of with a clean .minecraft.

Run the MCPatcher, leave all the settings how they are, and click 'Patch'

After the Patcher has done it job, close it, and navigate back to your texture packs folder. (Click the start button, search 'run', use run, type '%appdata%' go to .minecraft -> Texturepacks)

Now move/copy the texture pack to the folder, make sure the texture pack is unextracted, (still a .rar file for example.)

Close all the folders, run Minecraft, click texture packs, click on the one you want, and you should have your texture pack!

no dude i have it it is just that is is a hd 1 so it is all weird and retarted and i cant patch it

If you used your brain, and thoroughly read what Kong as just instructed you to do, using the application I just linked to you, then it will work.

If it doesn't then you should be ashamed that you can't complete such a common task xD

there is two problems that might be the cause of this though

1) when i click patch it does nothing just does i dont know what instantaniously

2) i dont know what version to choose so i just choose 1.2.5 when i have snapshot 12w27a

Wait.... what.

Where does it ask you to specify your Minecraft version?

EDIT: You are using 1.2.5.... the MC Patcher may not be updated for 1.2.5

no, i am using snapshot 12w27a but i guess they r the same and it aks me to specify the version next 2 where it says patch
