[Enjin Archive] Feminine Thread
Started by [E] GACKT

I'm probably opening up a whole new can of worms here, but any guy should always hold doors for women. I believe that the men should be chivalrous, not complete jackarses. I believe the man of the household should be the leader, because women (although oft times very strong in situations that call for it) often let their emotions get in the decision making of important decisions. I understand that there are some cases of households where the husband doesn't do his part, wastes their income on beer, and doesn't lead his home; in which case the matriarch must take the leadership role. Once again, this is my personal opinion, but I believe that a married woman's place is at home. It is just as hard to keep a house clean, cook the meals, and school/raise the children (Yes, my babies are gonna be homeschooled) than it is to work a job. I believe that it is the man's job to go out and earn the income, and come home to a loving family that he cares for, and leads with the compassion and guidance of the Lord. (Yes, I believe the husband is the head of the wife. You can find this in Ephesians 5:23) Men, we should be opening doors AND car doors, holding umbrellas, complimenting (NOT flattering), and treating women with respect. Just while I'm on my soap box: Young ladies, if he doesn't have enough respect to not to touch you, then he's not gonna respect you; or your body for it's natural purposes at ANY point in the future.

I'm done preaching, time for altar call XD
Its not wrong to think that, some girls would absolutely love the idea of not working and being kept by a man.

I personally like my own independance as a safety net as you never know what will happen in the future! Things don't always go as planned.
My thoughts on the Bob and Tom Show's Gender Songs:

I love them! THey're hillarious, but sometimes a bit steryotypical and slightly offensive. In a funny way though. I don't really agree with the 'sex is a weapon' and 'until I get dinner and a movie' parts, but the spider, age and shoes part made me crack up!

I know there's women out there who are perfectly fine taking care of themselves, and can do a good job with it... My standpoint is that the man's traditional role from the creation of Adam is to guide a family, and Eve was made as a helpmeet for Adam. (Genesis 2:18) So yes, I do believe that women were created to help men, cause Lord knows we need y'all lol

And as far as the safety net, I'm just gonna lead whoever my family may be with the guidance and the Lord, and I know he'll take care of us.

Just make sure you are considerate and tolerant of others beliefs just as much as you would want them to be with yours. A lot of people have their own religions or do not believe in any religion so its usually best to keep those kind of opinions to yourself as it creates a political argument and at the end of the day no-one is right or wrong. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and belief :)

I could easily say what I don't agree with but I know it won't change your mind just as much as you wont change mine about what you believe in, thats why its just easier to not say anything too political.
Woah woah woah, Jared, don't bring religion into this.
