if the station is above ground we could use yellow for eastbound, red for west, blue for south, and green for north...
use wool, and run it along the walls or as a block in each pillar...

The new spawn should be streamlined and functional with a bit of creativity inbetween it all. Right now we have a few spread out areas where no one goes because there's nothing to do after exploring it once.

Yeah like sawine said I say we make a 1K radius that is only spawn town. Then maybe also protect another 500 radius so people dont build so close and we can have plans.

badfox... i completely agree... i was thinkin 5 districts...
spawn dist - embassy row + portals + bank n stuff..
trade dist - markets, mall, obv stuff
new dist - skyscrapers, events (a garden would be good here, central park style)
old dist - residential, events (also a statue would be cool)
Its nice that we can take the best elements of cities in the real world and combine them to create the ultimate spawntown xD
i love the idea of organizing it... and if i was allowed id like to get some people and split up the protection evenly with walls and use the rail as the top of the wall in order to divide it all... IMO, it would be ideal and leave room for expansion of each district...
i want to do infrastructure like the spawn tower concept and the walls, rails, and streets...

Okay, so there hasn't been much decided on the new town yet. One thing's sure: It's going to be big and circular.
I don't mind much about what 'style' it'll look like.

This is more or less the case in the current world.
A railway station (whether it'd be underground, ground level or in the air) is certainly a nice addition. Who doesn't like actually TRAVELLING to their destination instead of warping?

I think this is your personal opinion because from most servers I visit, our spawn is still in the best ones IMO.
There is not much that is planned. We have an overall idea of what we are going to do, but we didnt specify more than that.
What I have in mind for the new spawn, is a very big (1k radius) protected area, city in a circular shape. And thats it for the moment lol...
If you ever played Lineage2 or Ragnarok, I was maybe planning to inspire myself from few of their architectures later on.
Also, my idea for the worldhub, was to make something like.. a big "futuristic" silo, like a space station.
But nothing is carved in stone, we'll see.
