My statements are based on The fact that i have read every single thread regarding main 2 for the last 12 months. I see no reason why i need to prove my point. the simple fact the decision has been made. Minecraft servers are NOT democracies. they ARE dictatorships. most leaders choose what the players want. but they have the final say. Choosing to ignore this fact will likely lead to Disappointment.

You seem to forget you are the one fighting against the new main2??? I am merely bring up a concern that it may fail if this hasn't been considered. At this point from madster's post and swines post it seem there has been lots of consideration. And something like this is absolutely necessary to any governmental body democracy or otherwise. US/Democracy:

In todays culture depending on your current political view (wont go into this) the system may seem corrupt with people who are lobbyist who are paid to sway the decisions of the law makers (the house and senate) as i stated b4 i believe you fall under this lobbyist narrow minded self centered ideology.

The list of items that are not allowed to be transferred, is due to change at any point, don't get your hopes up. Haha.

I understand you are completely against this but you need to understand some things.

Minetown is not a new server, it is very old and very established. Some players have spent years here and have worked hard for those items and money. Classic server will soon be there just as a walk down memory lane, many will move over to Agharta and all new players will begin there, and its only fair they should be able to take parts with them for a price to help the transition of "beginning again".

Those who are able to afford to move their items over wont have to begin from scratch after all that hard work they did before, they will have the chance to create a pretty little home or a small little town for others to move into. It makes the whole moving over a lot easier for them and will promote a lot of old members to do the move.

This item transfer is not including currency, it is items to help them begin again. This means they will be spending a lot of their money so their currency will be at a lower rate and only have items to show for it.

I understand you feel its unfair but you need to see it from the older players point of view.

I've spent 2 years on this server and would feel cheated to have everything I have done and worked for taken from me for a "fresh start". Classic server will not be the server that is planned to expand or grow, so older players will eventually want to move over to the new server, this item transfer is just to ease the move for those players and not feel like they have lost everything by doing so.

You don't seem to understand I too have spent a lot of time on classic. The problem with the economy is not a surplus of MTC but a surplus of resources...

This thread is going in circle, wrongly titled and the poll has been edited from its original result.

A lot of things also have been mentioned that are not really related to the current situation.

The decision has already been taken considering this topic. There will be some items transferable for a fee. We are aware of the pros and the cons of this decision and will be working to balance things out.

You are free to express yourself in a more condensed and mannerly way in the feedback thread if this decision doesn't please you.
