Adding to Fett's, if you can't connect to mt.gg and use the /server pearl command, play.pearlmc.net will allow you to directly connect.

Think terrafirmacraft only not as tedious or heart wrenching. It just basically forces you to be intelligent about how you build as soft blocks IE cobble,dirt,clay fall when placed.
