A handful of people have been wondering about the server "Pearl" that appeared in the proxy list (about a week before this post)...and no, it is not a replacement or new version of any of Minetown's other servers, as some people have asked/suggested.

Pearl is a server I started about 8 months ago, that offers a balanced "hard" survival experience. Beyond the proxy access, it is mostly "unconnected" from the other MT servers. It has separate player ranks (including different staff), a separate economy, non-linked chat, and other minor features that distinguish it from a server created for the Minetown cluster. It may eventually become more "integrated", particularly in terms of participating in cross-server chat, but there is currently no set timeline and other projects on both Pearl and Minetown have priority.

Yes, because silverfish destroy everything they touch, and the multiply very quickly.

I was mining like 20 minutes ago and a creeper came up and blew right behind me... Lost 2 hearts with iron on...

She did say "hard" survival, what do you expect from those pesky creepers? I mean all they really want to do is give you a hug....

The answer may be somewhere obvious, but I haven't come across it yet >.< ...how do you 'rank-up' ranks?
