Hey guys, whenever I try to launch FTB it says:

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

I then click OK and it closes again. I then try again...

Nothing I have tried works! Please help me!

Which form of the launcher are you using? the .exe or .jar?

For java: Use this download and install.

Lets try the .jar version of the launcher.

Go to This link and download the .jar version of the launcher. launch FTB and see if you get the error.

Just to clarify, How much ram do you have allocated to ftb? What bit version is your os 32 or 64 bit? Have you made any software changes before this occurred? if so, what?

1 GB, 32, no.

alright, well lets try and starting from a clean slate, find the location of the ftb folder and delete it. redownload the launcher and try and start it.
