Ok so I don't know if this is true but people are saying minetown will die soon. May ik why? Sorry for this random post out of know where this is just my favorite server and ive been here for a long time with the server.

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

Things change. We go through periods of good and periods of bad. Right now we're going through probably the biggest changes the server has seen in the last 2 years. If you like the server, if you want it to thrive, all I can ask of you is to stick around. (Voting isn't so bad either! <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object> ) With the large history of donations this server has seen, I don't see anything "dying" for a long time. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

When I joined the server over a year ago people were already saying the same thing, and have been constantly ever since. People who say it's dying are mostly the ones who have been around for a while and have a case of internet nostalgia that won't let them accept any changes. In other words, a bunch of teenagers with early onset old folks syndrome.

The Facts:

We have gotten less than 2 donations a week in the last month

Their are a lot (80-100) of people on. yet the lack of donations

When I was raging about the spawner's I believe is said something along the lines of "at this rate MineTown will run itself into the ground within 6 months"

My Opinion:

I may just be right unless we get some new perks, no one is going to donate because the perks we have now are outdated perks. I will have one good laugh to my self if something i said out of rage actually comes true.

Also the minetown/eximius gaming empire is spread out too far, we have many server's and not enough players to fill them.

That is incorrect.

I take that back. I was simply looking at the side bar on our home screen.

minetown's fortune may be looking up after all.

All servers have periods of apparently being more active and apparently being less active. Overall Minetown is doing pretty well, with all things considered (and there's a lot of stuff to consider lol).

Specifically in regards to donation benefits, staff are currently discussing making donations have more server-wide benefits instead of mostly being on Main and PvP. While we do have to account for general long-term gameplay and impact of server performance, members are more than welcome to make suggestions on things they'd enjoy. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>

Also, there have been a lot more guests on PVP, some of which have become members and have been regulars for the past week or so. What do you mean the eximius gaming empire? Lol. If you are talking about the Eximius Gaming servers(Like my server, lucas's server, ect) they are not "spread out" They have nothing to do with Minetown in itself..
