I think its a stupid idea. There's a LOT of stuff that people have made, and just because it's not popular doesn't mean that it should just be reset. Even if major cities are saved, there will STILL be retarded new buildings built on the new map. The only difference is theyd take longer to pop up. Keep the damn server teh way it is, if you really need to just extend it and reset some chunks.

Honestly a full move in my mind is a bad idea because we have 200 some odd payers, and to all of these players, their homes are "Major Buildings" I think we should try to reset old chunks as part of our cean up the server act. and then if that doesn't work. then we should try the expansion. I think our last resort should be a complete move.

If we do move (not my first choice, but we may have to) the residents of smaller towns and the owners of structures that are too small to move could probably be compensated with building materials, no?

I'll make a deal. If we can figure out precisely how to transplant chunks, I will save all of your towns and decent structures myself.

Please don't take my opinions personally. I'm just talking here about what I think the best course of action is for the server. The whole reason I am posting these things is to try to figure out how to deal with the server so that it can continue to be a fun and productive place. The move is just my reaction to the current update and the fact that regenerating chunks will make them contour to the existing chunks next to them making all mines that are cut instantly connect to caves, which can also be a problem if the area was left open because it was all lit properly. I understand that the members of the server are interested in keeping their structures and I have said several times that people would be allowed to request a personal building to be kept so that they still have their base. I just am trying to use this to figure out what is going on and how to deal with it.

I am down with just reseting chunks if thats possible. I dont wanna move stuff... Im sure that would be a huge hassle anyways. Maybe even reseting chunks is as well. If so just leave it as is.

Can I change my vote to "Lets do the move"? TBH I liked when the temp server just came on. Everything was fresh and new. Places to explore, stuff to find. It'd also get rid of all the stupid abandoned cobble houses and half torn down areas.
