As long as my sky city and Ninja's arena come over with the move, I would be fine with it. I also want my 150+ stacks of cobble to come with me as well.

Mrpiggy, I don't mean to troll, but haven't you found another server to play on? You are spending quite a bit of time here..

Broly, I really hate to admit it but I do feel the need to have the map remade. This is our chance to take all the good parts of our world and put them onto a fresh canvas. No more abandoned houses, tour up cliffs, random towers of cobble in the middle of nowhere. And it's true that lapis lazuli is going to be incredibly rare if we don't.

We're already depleting the resources around our cities with huge networks of mines and caverns. This would even solve the problem with faction territories.

It would take a lot of work but we could keep the more important structures and even let people choose where they are on the new map. The bigger structures will have first choice, such as Sqhere, Espero, Hyrule, Frostgorod, etc... once the landmarks are placed, we can build anew around it all.

It saddens me, but the world is changing under us.

YEAH FUCK DAT! but really you guys want to reset the server because notch added purty colours and some blue crap cryston said that some cities will be moved but thats only the major ones but what about other peoples cities that theyve been working on they may not be as popular or well known but they probably mean alot to the owners of that city and i know id hate to see my city go even though it isnt as well known as others so screw the reset just leave keep the map if it does get bad extend the map but not now

How is it even possible to take sections from the map and put them in the new one?

Is it not possible to save chunks? My last server had did that when they reset. Though since our admin disappeared I don't know how to find out how..

I'm cool with it as long as all my stuff and my city Contra comes with.

jp i have tried new maps but in my opinon minetown is the best all the other servers are crap or griefed to death unlike minetown it is really lovly and looked after by friendly players.

Then why did you get yourself banned? Minetown isn't really much of an option :/
