I love both cats and dogs (generally i love animals), but i've grown up with cats... and they are just more easy to have.

They can do their own ''business'' and they are not destroying things (as much) as dogs do if you leave them at home.

The only bad thing about cats so far is that the cats at my house are bringing home a shit load dead mice lol.

In the summer its like 3-5 a day!

Dogs = Awesome Hunting Partners / Cats = Prefer to hunt solo

Dogs = Man's Best Friend / Cats = Couldn't care less about the status of your relationship

Dogs = Smart / Cats = Smart, but ALL cats still have a blonde streak... Go watch AFV's cat videos.

Love 'em both, I have a tortoise shell cat named Dixie, an Australian Shepherd named Jasper, and a Maltese named Eskimo.

Are you telling me dogs are smart? Well maybe they are, but it seems that you haven't seen the AFV vidio of how the dogs pee... that's less smart than falling down :S

Also, cats do actualy care about your relationship to them. In fact many cats doesnt like to be with any other people than their owner.

They do that because they respect you and believe that you are their family. If they're bringing you dead mice, birds, small animals in general, they think that they're bringing you food... Random is anything I can think of that has no connection with what is actually going on. For example;
