Started by Unknown User

Hi guys

I have been trying to install modloader but I keep getting the Same thing, minecraft goes to mojang loading screen then closes itself

I have wiped minecraft

Deleted meta inf

But I cannot think of anything else

If I have missed something can u please tell me or suggest how to fix it?

I really want to have these mods on

They are in order of importance top is most important

Optifine

Build craft

Ries minimap

Toomanyitems

If any of those cannot be together plz tell me? Thanks

If u cannot help me plz pm a minecraft.jar with all the mods installed

Thanks guys
thats a problem i had too, only way: delete the whole .minecraft folder and download it all new.

It will woek, it worked for me too.
Some plugins wont be compatible...
Bear in mind that only two of those mods will work on this server, the other two will exist but only in Single Player.
*Make sure it's the right version for YOUR minecraft (1.2.5 probably)

*Make sure that if you install 2 mods with new content, that they don't have the same ID

And rei's minimap is installed by putting it ito the .../.minecraft/mods folder (i did that)

I have a LOT of mods right now:

*TooManyItems

*Rei's Minimap

*Flan's WW2 pack (and modern war pack)

*Mamos environmental sounds mod

*Herobrine mod

*Mo' creatures mod

*Tomes mod (writable books)

*Millenaire

and *Boombox

But i've never gotten optifine to work properly
K I know only two will work

Gonna try and re download it

Thanks guys if anyone else has other solutions just say
But failure in the loading screen (the "MOJANG" logo) usually means an ID error.

I've got a LOT of those when modding
All those mods should work together fine, as I have them all installed on my minecraft. As HS1342 said make sure you have got the correct/latest version of each mod. Also try to install them one by one rather than all at once.

For example, drag files for mod loader over to minecraft.jar, open minecraft to make sure it works, close minecraft, drag files over for optifine, open/close minecraft etc.

That is how I normally install mods if I have a lot to install. Also if you do it this way it is easier to tell which mod is causing you problems, like if it works fine untill you install Rei's Minimap, you know that is where the problem is, generally!

If you still can't do it let me know and I can send you my minecraft.jar because, as I said, I have all of these working fine on my computer, and if that doesn't work, then you know the problem is something other than the minecraft.jar file! :)
