Polls provide a way to "tally" what the community opinions are on a topic. Without them, it's just be a nice dictatorship of a server. So... you want to get rid of polls... which means your opinions is now invalid, because no mod would be able to "tally" it, therefore this thread is irrelevant, given your desire.

I admit people make a lot of useless polls - take this one for example.

Although, there are rare times where a forum poll has a real purpose and is used effectively and that is why I support keeping them in place.
