Who besides lucy and jallaf got the hammer from the cauldweller situation?

My poll question - How do you feel about this - please explain in your post.

While I am sad to see this happen, I think it was the right call based on the evidence provided but only because the evidence provided was one sided. I feel that since the people banned are respected members of the server, this should be looked at in a lighter manner especially because the video was taken halfway through.

However one sided and out of context the video may have been, it caught them red handed although it purposefully left out everything that lead up to these reactions.

Its a tough call imo because the kid was advertising his server which is clearly against the rules,

and also bribing mods (which may not be against the rules, but cant be looked upon very highly <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object> )

Also, anyone could press the record button during almost any given convo and make it appear one sided and to sway in their favor - i just feel like all of this should be taken into consideration and we cant lose 3 mods :\

Id also like to suggest, that any person who was a supporter of MT and who would try to enforce the rules; would tell this kid to leave and stop. Admittedly, some people may go further than others; but in reality; they were trying to enforce the rules when it got out of hand, probably in a joking matter and thats when trolly-mcgee switched fraps on and sat back to enjoy the sounds of the ban hammer pounding away...

I would suggest a firing squad for the accused. They all stand up against the wall of spawn cathedral, and we all throw snowballs at their backs

(this is not intended to undermind the admins who made the call, rather to bring everything that needs to be considered to light so we dont lose more good players, atleast they arent duping or xraying... =\)

The situation is beeing cleared up and handled please do not create additional drama and let it be handled by the staff themselfs.

Edit: When it gets to a point of a threat, that's where I completely draw the line. The fact that many people say they did something wrong upsets me; I thought the Minetown community was greater than this.

Edit 2: In addition, this does NOT mean I support what Cauldweller did. If he advertised another server, then simply follow the rules and ban him as well.

What is Bullying????

I think this is the question we need to ask our community, Through my whole whopping 18 years of life I was taught that bullying or to be bullied was unacceptable and I'm sure most of you were as well but were you ever taught WHAT bullying actually is? Ive concluded that bullying is when One or multiple people continuously seek out and harass for no reason what so ever accept to be mean. Whether this be verbally or physically. It is not considered bullying when you stick up for yourself or react to someones actions. This is real life and people react in certain ways, you cannot go around and call someone a bully just by them reacting to your actions. BULLYING IS WHEN YOU SEEK SPECIFIC PEOPLE OUT TO DO HARM TO THEM. "Don't mess with the bulls if you don't wan the horns". This is what i think about bullying and based on previously heard conversations.

first off you are not staff, so i would ask you not to make this post trying to sound like you are.

secondly, you both replied within 30seconds of the post, so im sure neither of you read passed the first line.

thirdly, they were doing the right thing, but apparently somewhere some of the accused crossed a line - and to the accused mods i would ask why no action on their part was taken to remove cauldweller from the channel therefor ending his troll session

if this post offends the moderators then please remove it, I just want to hear people honest opinions none of which will change the outcome decided upon by the mods

I choose option C, although apparently it registered my vote without counting it (not that polls have any influence on ban appeals anyway).

I wasnt there and did not hear the conversation, but from what I have gathered reading the appeals, and from previous things I've seen/heard of this guy he intentionally pushed them to this point, and quite honestly seems to deserve it. On the other hand, it seems like this was handled very inappropriately and he should have been removed/banned from mumble LONG before it got to that point.
