Oh wow just saw that bigdawg and italy got banned for duping. That was unexpected.
BTW irethena im not throwing a low blow here or disrepecting your choice.. but I witnessed pokemon saying some pretty harsh comments to trpez in chat one day and that is mostly what prez's problem is.

Well I wasn't the one who banned TPrezzle anyway, so it wasn't my choice.
And I'm aware that there was more than one side.
Thats why i dont ban people i love errbody <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object>
Rules are called rules because everyone has to follow them, not only on Minetown. Look, the Real Life also have lots of rules you have to take care of and if you break them you'll get jailed as well if they catch you.
We want everyone to follow the rules, that's why we have them and announce them every time. Just think about what would happen if we don't tempban or jail people who break the rules anymore? People are going to troll people, staff and the server itself more often and they're about increase the rudeness level more and more. And if no one follows any rules, this community will be crap and we won't have a popularity anymore. Have a look on other servers where trolls can purchase Mod perms for 50$ and even OP rights for lets say 100$. Minetown doesn't tolerate things like that and that's why the staff is behind it.
We're no robots, we make fun as well and troll people sometimes but we do not break rules and that's the point. As long as you follow the rules, we don't have any reason to jail, mute or ban anyone of you.
Our job is to make sure that people follow the rules and if they don't, we basically have to punish them.
And if anyone of you says that the MT staff is bad or corrupt in any kind of way, all I have to say: You don't have to play on Minetown.

Unfortunately, rules may be rules. although Minetown rules are apparently governed, and moderated by biased individuals who have difficulty practicing what they preach.
Not directed to anyone specifically, this is just an observation.

Cold, it's not really about the rules. It's about how much, and how aggressively they are backed. You can do one thing, not even a serious thing, and you get a ban. Some people who make happy faces around the staff get a lot more leniency than other players, even when the offence is severe. TPrezzle was brought up because he was popular, and a lot of people liked him, but he isn't the only case of unfair judgement. Many people walk away with perm bans they don't deserve, and a lot of people come back scot free after getting caught hacking.
Not sure what to call that statement, but I'm going to go with arrogant because I can't think of anything better.
Have you ever considered people only play on Minetown because it works? Because it's got an active community? Because it's got good plugins? A fair amount of people have jumped into this thread to say they don't like the way things are handled, and when they do that is not the sort of thing you should be saying.

As Some Things May Not Be "right" In Peoples Eyes, They Are Wrong In Other's...Not Everyone Gets What They Want However, The More "Nice" People Are, The More Respect They Get From Staff...This Thread Is Going Too Far And I Will Say Do Not Post Anymore On This Thread...It's Not A Threat But It Is A Warning That People Are Crossing The Line....Speaking Your Voice Is One Thing, Dragging Across The Staff And Forums On This Topic Is Another And Is Not Acceptable...Stop Now As You Are Being Warned! TPrezzle Was Banned For Legit Reason...Not Everyone Will Be Happy With This But He crossed The Line As Sayomie Previously Told Him...He Was Warned Several Times and He Decided To Keep Going...And Also...we Do Not Favor People But we Do Have More Respect To Those Who Respect Us...So With That Said, Stop Posting On This Thread!!!

Now, I've been doing a lot of thread searching and reading lately in in an attempt to see just what the punishment for X-ray packs seems to be and i can't help but point out a folly here.
I remember when Poke-whatever admitted to using X-ray packs, claiming she was "addicted" to it (or something along those lines). Now, I've seen this player on since she admitted to using the pack and I don't believe its quite fair. I've seen plenty of ban appeals where the user was told "No, you are permabanned' for using X-ray. Now, perhaps this Poke-whatever is special, maybe she lays golden eggs and donates thousands of dollars to fund Minetown. I don't know her outside of the game...and even in game I would not call her one of my friends..I've only seen her name in passing.
If a mod were to be fair and just this Poke-whatever would be sitting in a Permaban position just like the rest of the people who used X-ray. Just because you admit you're a murderer doesn't mean the sentence is less severe (Its a drastic comparison, but sue me). Thus, the fact that Poke-whatever is still running around (Was last seen 9 hours ago) shows that somewhere along the lines the Mods have gone corrupt.
I don't even know this poke-whatever and I feel the need to keep my distance and even view her with disdain because the fact that she's still around when others have been removed for the same injustice makes my skin crawl.
In This Thread a Helper and an In Game Moderator both say its in the rules which we sign when we make an account.
I'm not trying to pick on Poke-whatever, or start a flaming fireball of trolling, but to say that the MT staff is completely good and just would be unfair when there is corruption staring everyone blankly in the face.
