Glowstone removal? Last I read is that redstone lamps are crafted using glowstone and redstone.

however it reads in the notes, that once you break a redstone lamp block, it remains a gredstone lamp block, unless im reading it wrong, which is a dam ngood possiblilty since its late and im tired

Nope you read it right. Unless I read it wrong too. Which is a possiblity because I read something wrong once.

I think you guys make a mistake...in order for a redstone lamp to works, you need glowstone.

No, I Am right in saying bye bye glowstone...Yes, I may need it to make the lamp, btut once I make the lamp, it will not become glowstone dust, it will become a redstone lamp block when broken.

It would have been nice if it had NOT behavior like redstone torches.. That way it would be on by default and you'd need a switch or whatever to turn it off. Since you would generally want it to be on by default, that would make more sense...
