Actually redstone lamps are nothing like Glowstone less light to my view but the golems look cool!

According to the minecraft wiki they give off the same light as a regular glowstone. So no more glowstone!

How does adding more environments and more things to build with in a building game make it worse? I dont get it...

Enchanting, potions, breeding, and all that stuff. Before breeding, you actually had to venture out just to find the animals, which made it more fun adventuring. Enchantments like Fortune make it easy to get more diamonds, and silk touch gets you a mob spawner which allows for unlimited experience, and loot. Before, you had to make a mob trap, or kill mobs yourself. Potions make PVP easier, since you have buffs/advantages over the other player due to Strength, poison, and etc.
Some may or may not agree with me, but this is just what I feel about it.
Edit: I do like the addition of biomes and that you can build up to the 256th layer, which encourages greater and better builds.

i dont like the glowstone removal, but other than that...FTW - i think they should have just added redstone lamps and left glowstone alone...this is going to piss me off...whats going to happen to all the glowstone i have used in builds? will it poof? turn to redstone lamps??? i dont get it...do not approve <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>
