The problem I find with trying to find new areas of the nether is because there are so many open portals already, the portal you make will most likely link to the same spot as someone elses, and because of that if you try and return home through your portal you may end up in someone else's home or city.

So just set your home in the nether and when you go back home use a warp.

there is tons of netherbrick still in the game, i can find a untouched nether fort every 5-10minutes which = 1000's of nether brick per fort. i also never mine them so the ones ive found are still there which is probaly 50 or more best option to find some is walk the same direction for about 2000 blocks set ur home and start mining at next for you see, after its gone which you will never probaly mine a whole fort walk 10 minutes same direction ull find another one

I has a question, what is the acutal size of the neather? 5000x5000 more/less?

Same as the overworld, 12000x12000. I think it's somewhat explored out to 3000x3000, and practically untouched past that, save for a few places.

nether do reset before i remember..

netherbrick needless to be "make-able" because it can be found and mine.
