Hello everyone,

With the upcoming servers cluster we will be able to support a lot more worlds/servers on our network. We already have a bunch of worlds planned*, but we would like to hear about your ideas. And to encourage you even more to contribute them, we will be giving away 3 custom Minetown mousepads and MT credits to the top 3 winners !

To participate, simply copy, fill & paste the following form as a reply in this thread. The 3 posts with the most kudos will be determined as contest winners.

Description: A world with 10x more rare ressources but also with 100x more danger. All mobs are stronger and aggressive. The night time is permanent and the map is custom generated with massive mountains/caves/"big cavern looking".

Other notes: TNT permission still need to be determined and portal location could be relocated from under the cathedral to a more difficult to reach area.

Warning:

DO NOT ask other people to go and "like" your world submission. If we find out that you pestered people to like your post, you will be disqualified. The same rule applies if you make alt accounts to like your own post...

There is no definite ending date for the contest yet, although it should be around the time as we finalize the cluster installation. (so 1-3 weeks...) A notice will be made when the contest will be ending soon.

*Already planned worlds: PVP, Creative, CastleSiege, UnderWorld, and other incomplete ideas...

Gangs can be mafia style (as in baddies) or the police (who are the people who can send people to jail and such)

The police would have to be mods... or picked by sawine but this would not be a very hard thing to earn, and it does not carry over to main world.

The police may be bribed to let people out of jail and such. YOU CANNOT BE BANNED FROM THIS WORLD.

Your mafia may steal gold from the other mafias.. burn other mafias HQ or shops down and kill them.

The police are there to stop this but may be bribed themselves and be killed.

The police is a type of gang.. it is not an actual version of mod or helper. They may not fly or be able to use anything mods can.. only the jail feature for Gang Land

TNT is allowed. However TNT is very expensive and gunpowder and sand is banned, so you MUST by the TNT (this will stop random people joining and blowing everything up)

Excessively griefing stuff that has nothing to do with the gangs is not allowed.

People who are not in gangs may join and make shops and houses as they would in normal world but they are at the mercy of the gangs there.
Name: Maze/Puzzle World

Type: Survival/Adventure

Generator: Custom generation

Description: A never ending puzzle. Starting at spawn. The further you advance, the bigger/more awesome the reward! If you die, you lose it all!

Other notes: At the end of each "Puzzle" you are given the opportunity to either leave and go home (Main world) or continue on to try and double your prize. There are many different puzzles for each level. You start at a random "level one" either having to make your way through a maze... or figure out how to pass through a room... or fight waves of monsters. Whatever... then you go on to level two... so on and so forth.

Name: Cavern

Type: Roleplay, survival, adventure.

Public: Members and Donators only.

Generator: Custom

Description: A large cavern area with many caves and tunnels. The aim is to live underground and survive. No PvP, no creative but a hardcore survival world. Full of danger and thinking puzzles! There to test your survival skills but still be a fun part of Minetown!

Other notes: Rules of no PvP, but that's all. You really want a good experience but it still to be challenging! A challenge in the respect you will have to think now how do I make this chest private. No commands like /cprivate in this world or /home or /warp. Only way to leave is /mvtp spawn.

Name: Outerworld

Type: survival, adventure

Public: free2all

Generator: Custom, much mountains (7407028261324894234)

Description: A world with 4x more rare ressources but also with much more danger. All mobs are stronger and aggressive and spawn much faster. The daytime is very short and the night long. You have to build your own basement to survive. Much cavesystems connected to a big system! Caves can be used as connections to other in outerworld staying members bases. BUT restriced LWC! 10 locks per player, not avaible for guests (or we have chestspam again -.-) Think the idea of a hard world like outerworld will be very nice, fight against the mobs and dont walk on the surface while the long night or the extremely dangerous mobs will kill you!

extras: inventar connected to mainworld, export useable! NO mods in Outerworld or only restricted, permissions only for 1 home!

Name:zombie land

Type:hardcore survival, pvp, adventure

Description:one massive npc's village, or custom built town by staff, always nighttime, no breaking blocks. Kits; kit ammo (stack of arrows) reuse time 1hour, kit bow (1 bow) reuse time 2 hours, kit food (1 stack of cooked pork) reuse time 12 hours, kit sword (1 dia sword) reuse time 2 hours.

Lots of zombie spawners in the village, no other mobs if possable, players can team up or go solo and fight for mats.

THE SHOP;

The shop is the only warp /warp shop

It is a safe zone where you can buy stuff for rotten meat (killin zombies)

ALL AREA PROTECTED

TNT is off, it can damage mobs

Type: hardcore survival, pvp, survival challenge

Description: I have a new idea for a game type called 'survival challenge'. It requires that some plugins be developed, but I think it would add a new dimension to hardcore survival. The premise is simple. You pay a fee (say $25,000 MTC) to enter into the world. You have to survive a predetermined amount of time (10 days for example -- i.e. play for a total of 240 hours IRL). If you survive, you get a reward (say $50,000 MTC). Killing other players also gives you a reward ($1,000 MTC per player maybe) as does unlocking achievements ($100 each or something?). If you don't make it the full amount of time (i.e. die or choose to leave the world), you are kicked out of the world, you can't re-enter without paying the entrance fee again, and don't get your initial entrance fee refunded.

Other notes: silkspawners plugin disabled, warping/home/vault disabled (only way in or out is via one main portal), /kit disabled, no protections (except for a small area around spawn), etc. You start with nothing (0 xp, no items from other worlds, etc). Difficulty should be set to normal or higher. It should be as close to vanilla minecraft as possible. If you complete the challenge, you can bring whatever resources you collected back into the main world.

Dwarven Realm

Description:

The entire map will be underground and filled with small and large caverns (Similar to the 404 challenge cavern and in some places much, much larger). The spawn area will be a large protected dwarven fortress, mobs will be similar of those in Hard Mode so mining will prove more difficult. The world will be split into two sections (split horizontally so there would be an Upper Half and a Lower Half) The upper half will be pvp disabled while the bottom half pvp will be allowed. Resources will be 10% rarer on the top half but 10% more abundant on the lower half. 'Temples' and forgotten ruins will be spread throughout the map ready for players to uncover. Some will be merely decorative purposes but others will hold hidden treasures and maybe even a quest or two to uncover more secrets of The Great Dwarven Temple located within the spawn area. A small shop within spawn will sell items which would be unobtainable within a cavern world such as seeds and grass ect. LWC will be enabled (/cprivate for players who didnt know what LWC meant lol). Could also have loot chests implemented within Temples to help survive mobs.

Other notes:

Will need a discussion as to if players will be able to carry items over or not, if TNT should be enabled (or if it should be able to do player damage but not environment damage) and also need to think about if region protections should be unlimited or restricted.

Note: If items are not to be carried over then maybe put some sort of plugin in place that players can carry X amount of items over to the main world for a certain amount of minetown credits (Such as spawners, diamonds and other useful items lol <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>)

Name: EventWorld

Type: Event, Creative

Public: All - However building permissions denied unless staff approved.

Generator: Custom - Flat world made of entirely dirt and grass on top.

Description: Just an upgrade of the current event world. A flat world would make building events a lot easier for staff to create and also lower lag from the world editing we do to flatten land. Also if members and donators come to us with a good event ideas we could grant them creative within event world to work on their ideas. Currently if a player switches between worlds creative is automatically removed so it would not damage the main world if players were granted creative. Separate inventories between worlds would stay the same. This would promote members to become more active within event world, many members have good ideas but do not have the resources or the time to create large events.

Name: Cave World

Type: Hardcore Survival, PvP

Generator: Custom, all underground with lots of caves/ravines/mineshafts.

Description: My idea is a world that is entirely underground, with a layer of bedrock both below and above and the only goal being to survive as long as you can, either on your own or you can work with friends (be careful who you trust here though). This world would be a total free for all with griefing and all types of killing allowed. There would recieve MTC for surviving a certain period of time (an hour?) with the reward increasing each time, and also a larger reward for killing other players. The only way out of this world is death, and you would keep whatever MTC you earned up until your death.

Other notes: /cprivate and /warp disabled. You cannot bring items into or out of this world from other worlds. All kits would be disabled. All players would spawn with ONE /kit logs in their inventory, the only way to get more is to kill other players.
