You could always use string to get the name of the regions and if you are a owner of the primary region, you SHOULD be able to do something like /region list <region name>. This should give you any members of that region.

As long as you specify the name of the inner region (not the master plot). You are still the owner of the inner plot, so it should show you this information. I'd test this for you but I am MC handicapped ATM (I'm just going on assumptions right now).
