The thing is rosie... unless you have proof that you had those items, there's no way of telling what you may have had. I'm going by what Danni and many other Mods/Admins have said.

The entire city needed to be wiped, so there are two reasons why it would cause complications for them to refund absolutely everything. One, they don't necessarily have the time or the amount of the people to do that many refunds, and even if they did, lets be honest. With that many people, there would be a lot of players taking advantage.

Two, there was mass duping going on in the town. They will never know exactly the amount of people who may have been in on it, so they take the risk of reimbursing duped items. They can't just make exceptions for people or else everybody would want to be pleased, then they would just be back at square one. I understand it's a very unfortunate thing that happened, and it was all because of a few players, but you aren't the only one who lost items.

That is just my opinion.

Wait lost items on character? That stuff refunded WAS from my inventory... I was taking a few valuables from my chest to put in my vault, and parker told me stash was banned. I asked danni if I could run erc after stash left, she said sure. I guess I kinda stalled putting the stuff away, because I had to ask Zio to get the protections removed, and the shops emptied. The only thing in my house at the time of merc's closing was a double chest of sugarcane, almost a full single chest of coal, and some basic blocks I kept for building houses like stone bricks and torches etc... I remember the server lagging out while merc was there, and coming back on a half an hour later with NOTHING in my inventory. I lost enchanted diamond armor too in that. I did not want to cause any problems with this, but could I get those items back or is it too late?

The people dupe-ing were the owners of merc basically, they had the protection on that secret area so much that I had to pay 9 stacks of dia to have access to it. I thought it was a bit suspicious when they kept most doors locked from me, and steered clear away from those doors when they were giving tours of the farms. The thing to remember is that when I was first turned into a member, I got to selling cooked pork and TONS of ores I collected in my two months of being a guest. When I wanted that refund, it was because that took a LONG time to gather the supplies. I can see how people could take advantage of this, and I (as stated in my application) I hate lying. Even littlwewhite lies I CANNOT STAND. So choose to trust me or not but I earned that stuff, and it would be great to have it back, and to have this whole thing settled out. Me having lived in merc couldn't you have just asked me about some details pertaining to the owners if you were curious? The only thing I ever had contact with stash in was getting access to the owner farms, and buying a house and shop lot. He wouldn't tell me about the dupe-ing because now I think he didn't want to be caught using it.

Cat, it was the right thing for you to do, if I had known that, things would be different. I turned in all the items I was given on request, and apologized to Jallaf, because I did NOT want to cause any problems.

This has been sorted now, Jallaf didnt know there was no refunds and he has taken back the items.

The most important reason as to why we werent doing a refund for anyone is because the entire city was rigged up with duping machines, they werent just in a single room, they were hidden everywhere. Behind shops, under shops, in walls, in secret holes and we couldnt possible find them all.

We also got told of a few other people that had used the duping techique but with no proof they had made one, just used the ones there so we couldnt ban. We dont know who was using the dupes and who wasnt so it was a lot safer to not refund any of the items as we know of many players in that city were duping.

All players that we got told were also duping have been monitored since the duping event to watch for suspicious behaviour, as soon as they do anything funny i'll be on them in a second.
