I stumbled upon an abandoned town, which I took precautions in claiming, by asking information from staff members on logs, etc. Not knowing proper procedure at the time, I claimed the abandoned land and proceeded to rehabilitate the structures, I was later called out on my action and had my claim locked. I have sent a private message to the appropriate former ownership with a formal request on the transfer permission. The original architect and land owner was "DayneThunderBow". I wish to continue to operate this land under fully legal terms, and continue to repair this broken landscape.
All containers on the property have been unlocked, as well as my own personal items in several chests, along with a couple thousand dollars worth of MTC invested in rehab, and the aforementioned items.
As my home has been deleted at the time of posting this reply, the land is at /home dteandy shop, and turn the opposite direction, at the end of the road is the land claim I'm currently requesting. The home for this claim is /home GarnetSteel LandClaim
Regarding the message sent to the player in question, the forum message reads as follows: "Hello, Sir. I had stumbled upon a property of yours on Agharta about a week ago. This was a modern town, which I was told was abandoned. I claimed it and rehabilitated it, though later on I was confronted about not making a land claim, I don't know how active you are, but if you could get back to me soon, I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to start a land claim request, that way if you see it on the forum, you can give a response to whether you want me to take over this property or not. Thank You.
Sincerely, GarnetSteel. (Agharta)"
At this time, I have approximately 3,500 MTC, invested in rehab. I have built 1 home, and a city hall, I have flattened the terrain, added trees, and have personal signs and chests in the claim.
(This image was pulled from my entry to the town screenshot contest, this photo shows the abandoned town the way I found it, and what rehabilitation I have done to it thus far.)
