Hey guys.

I had a great idea earlier today and that would be to host a Mod (And/or Admin) Awards, with nominations such as:

• Most helpful moderator

• Most responsive moderator

• Most friendly moderator

• Overall best moderator

And

• Most helpful admin

• Most responsive admin

• Most friendly admin

• Overall best admin

And (maybe)

• Overall Best Minetown Mod AND Admin (The highest award)

The winner gets a cape of some sort to wear with pride, or a crown, or something to show this, and perhaps a small cash sum (yes, it involves diamond blocks).

The concept is that moderators and admins (be honest guys) would rather play than deal with people who are saying things such as HELP HELP WHY WONT U HELP ME ARGH HELP HELP PLS HELP etc.

There would be a poll on the forums and people can go to the poll and vote ONCE for their favourite mod/admin in each of the 4 sections, overall best moderator being the big one.

Supporters, please just say you support. If not, please say WHY and I'll change it if I can to include / modify to what you think should happen.

Please also post whether this should be monthly / yearly. In my opinion, I think every 6 months, January and June.

This would lead to a "popularity contest" rather then who can do the job the best.

I think Sawine would already have a system in place to track how much petitions / work they do with others

That was my thought... That's what the mod app section is for. Coffeey helps people and gets them to like his mod app. so he can get more chance.

I like the idea if its kept fun and light hearted. It could turn nasty if people judge mods based on their performance, we all work just as hard as each other.

Could include best mod and admin quotes and some fun awards too like 'Which staff smells like potatoes' or 'whose the sexiest staff'
