[Enjin Archive] Tree Plugin
Started by [E] Jugstrike

For when we set up the new server, is there a possability of adding the tree plug-in where it realistically all falls when you cut out the base. (like the cacti do) Had it on a prior server, quite nice <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
Gief that plugin! I hate having to hack myself a way through the leaves finding that last block of wood!
It sounds cool having that Terraria like dynamic. Sadly I don't think any of the staff would want it because it would ruin survival. Maybe when we get a half-creative half-survival would this would be made. The thing you have to consider is there really is no way of detecting whether a wood block is part of a natural tree or not.

So in short, No.
It'd add realism, which is the key bonus
Hmm I can see liam's point tho.

Take the megatree for example:

Destroy one log, whole thing comes down <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
I used to have a SSP mod for that. I think it was called Treecapitator or something, I don't know whether it is a plugin for SMP though. It basically destroyed all wood blocks in a tree when you mine it, just like you said. But somehow it only works on grown trees, not placed logs.
I've had a mod from the Yog's Box (I hate that thing) that was called lumberjack that did that.
wht happens when you remove a log you misplaced on the bottom of that beautiful log cabin you just built?
Like Binkle said, it won't chop down placed logs therefore, you would still have a beautiful log cabin just without the misplaced block.
timber plugin much I LOVE that mod <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
