Sorry about the delay in the reply, I lost track of this thread with other duties.

The protection plugin is not one of MT or Pearl making.

There is a beta version of the plugin in which the change log states "

"Fixed some item frame issues due to 1.7.2's new Item Frame functionality. "

This beta is id older than the one from which the skeletons can no longer steal from item frames.

All of the items in my item frames (~100) have disappeared (Agharta).
