ya true but people started posting desktop specs so i thought he might be open to that. well reg your choice is a little over budget. I suggest the dell xps 15. the base price is 799.00 and includes an i5 2.3Ghz cpu which should be more than enough for what your looking for. But if you want to future proof it for a while then upgrade to the i7 3.4 Ghz for an additional $500 but im sure there is not much difference between 3.2ghz and 3.4 and your paying $200 less. also if you want full hd 1920x1080(thats full hd right?) then you only have to pay $150 more.

If I'm building a desktop, the first motherboards I look at are ASUS. They are also one of my top picks for video cards too.
