I decided to get some images.... And believe me... This is just a few things:
1. Endermen: The scary new mobs.
2. A hunger bar and some mystery bar. An Experience bar? Who knows.
3.Ruins: Made of some kind of new stone that also appears in a mossy and cracked form, contains Mob Spawners.
4. NPC Villages, Don't know if they are inhabited or just ruins, will humans live there or goblins or pigmen?
5. Mega Shrooms so 20 people can get high at once! Joking. 5: Giant Mushrooms: Can be grown (Apparently) Using fertilizer on normal shrooms and you can destroy the Caps and stalks for blocks.

From a interview with PC gamer, it will be a experience bar.
With it you will gain various perk as you lvl up and more importantly,
when you die... you lose all the lvl.
