At some point today, you may have noticed a pop-up about a java applet needing permission to run. Regardless of how you responded to this message or if you even saw it, I strongly urge you to run full anti-malware scans on your computer. An exploit was discovered where someone could inject bad code into Enjin websites without having access to the backend. I am not going into the details of how this was done, but the important things are Enjin has delivered a fix so Enjin sites are no longer compromised and that you check the integrity of your own machines.
I am very sorry to be needing to report this and hope everyone on Minetown managed to avoid getting impacted. However, this is critical information and everyone deserves to know that they may have been exposed to malicious softwware.
