[Enjin Archive] Important Website Alert: Please read immediately
Started by [E] Dragoness

At some point today, you may have noticed a pop-up about a java applet needing permission to run. Regardless of how you responded to this message or if you even saw it, I strongly urge you to run full anti-malware scans on your computer. An exploit was discovered where someone could inject bad code into Enjin websites without having access to the backend. I am not going into the details of how this was done, but the important things are Enjin has delivered a fix so Enjin sites are no longer compromised and that you check the integrity of your own machines.

I am very sorry to be needing to report this and hope everyone on Minetown managed to avoid getting impacted. However, this is critical information and everyone deserves to know that they may have been exposed to malicious softwware. If you are a member of other Enjin sites, please pass this information along as this is not Minetown-specific. You can view one of the reports to Enjin about this issue here:

Will do
Hey,

Thanks for the notice!

I believe this should be posted as an alert on the home page as this is a major security issue alert that should be easily visible by all people accessing the Minetown website.

Kind regards,

Dylan
I would also recommend changing passwords, because it could compromise those as well.
