Staff Announcements

CyberDrifter is now co-owner to Pearl. He has shown himself to be dedicated to Pearl at least as much as myself, and certainly more publicly active. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>

Additionally, xXMasterJackXx was promoted to scout last week. He has been active on Pearl, acts with personal responsibility, and has shown himself willing to answer the questions of other members as best he can.

I have updated the Pearl wiki page to show the current staff. There may be additional promotions coming soon. <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";-)">;-)</object>

World Regeneration

The regenerations of Essalo and Ateph were done last night. (sorry this ended up later in the day)

Essalo is pretty much a cleaned up version of before.

Ateph has completely new land generation and dallashilgers donated the design of it's spawn pavilion.



Ateph now has different challenge settings from the other worlds, including a trial of a build limitation aspect (requires being on solid ground to place blocks). These will be balanced as needed.

New Features

Craftbook's version of mob head drops has been enabled on Pearl globally. Most mobs are supported, just have to keep hunting until you get the drop.

A few extra things are in store for later in the week.

Current Pearl Event

If you haven't already, please check out the information on the Pearl Halloween build event. There's a lot of fun and rewards afoot, with a week still to go.

Upcoming 1.7 Update

A pre-release for 1.7 was made available today and Mojang has stated they plan to push the full 1.7 update out on Friday. Be aware that you will need to keep your launcher profile at version 1.6.4 until the entire Minetown cluster can update if you wish to keep playing on Pearl, or any other Minetown server.

Bukkit itself has gotten faster at providing unstable builds for new versions, but there are also other projects we must wait on. So it may be a few days before the servers can properly be updated.

ModernDragoness has really topped her own awesomeness on Pearl! Ateph is amazing - and Dallashilgers spawn build is so great! He tells me the End is much more challenging now and amazing as well.

CyberDrifter as Co-Owner is an asset to us all. He just has to get used to not jumping when he sees the Archon rainbow title - still thinking it's ModernDragoness talking - lol!

And XXMasterJackxx is so cool - now I can sleep some ( at least UK time slot is covered now <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object> )

As for my Halloween contest build off - it's has exceeded my expectations, I can't thank Dallas and Cyber enough for all the help and support. Cyber had to double the original contest area to accommodate all the players who entered to compete. And even the wither has a plot there thanks to Dallas and cyber <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object> The prizes are so many and so great it will seem like Christmas!!!!! My spider is pooping prizes all over my build . . .
