This is a picture from inside the original "Minetown" on the first server in September/October of 2010. I guess since the story of the griefing is no fun I'll tell the story of the name of the server! One night a staggering 15 people were on the server, and we all found this HUGE obsidian wall that was easily the size of a city, and (I'm gonna start name dropping people many of you don't know) me, Drupe, Cody, Daniel1995, and subzero) had the idea to make a huge city inside this obsidian wall. Well we spent all night making lots and at the end of the night someone says "Lets name it Minetown" and the name stuck. Wasn't until the next day when GRIFFF comes on and we all realize that this was GRIFFF's TNT testing area and there was TNT under everything... Uneventfully we cleaned it all out. For those of you who want to explore this city, there is a link to download the old map here (http://minetown.net/oldworlds), This map is from 2010 though so you're gonna have to update it and all that, but that place is where Minetown started.
