well there is one explanation but here is mine

tho those of you that don't know Gabe newel the creator of portal and the owner of vales and steam.

said when poratl2 came out that co op will be-handle on steam for ps3. so ps3 users could play and connect the steam users playing portal2 and use there accounts to play portal on the ps3 via steam.

now if u don't believe me i remember being told by my friend who has portal on steam and read about the steam to ps3 online playing as well steam are joining with ps3 because Gabe loves the ps3 and there was a post on the portal 2 forums about this.

If you listen to the message properly you will notice that these hackers are on our side...because SONY is fucking us up the ass,.

I understand why they attack Sony, but if they are on our side and they want to help the gamers, why disrupt it by shutting down PSN? It seems as if they are just trying to make it so they are able to hack and do what they want, personally I could care less if I can't hack my ps3.
