So I was wondering for awhile.. Are all the events n the event world done? I wanted to do the weekly but it seems like everything has cobwebs on it... Just a curious question nothing more.

The event spawn area is basically a "teaser" look at the calendar for different events available at certain times out of spawn

Actually its a great question, Now I can say what I have planned.

Although I am not an event team member or manager, I have recently been given the chance to create a weekly event, some people know it, and some don't. Thanks to MattGehring and others that are helping me build this event it will be done and with the help of a potention plugin that might be getting added it will be able to constantly run on its own with a new environment most of the time.

After asking people what they liked, it seemed to me that everyone was looking for an actual event ( not saying the others are not) but something they can feel satisfied about after participating. People seemed to like that competitive survial/pvp type like the old times. The idea ended up with

Minetown Hunger Games.

This event in my mind would be able to run itself recreating new 3000x3000 arenas every time, with new scattered secret/hidden classes that you would be able to find and take to help yourself survive. ultimately there would be a prize at the end for whom ever is the victor. As of now It's safe to say its well underway and I hope to get it out there to everyone soon.

Hope this restores some faith in people for the events server.
