It's not illegal, it's just a shitty thing to do with. True, he added "disclaimers" to try and save face, but more probably he thinks he needs to do it to be legal. Doesn't really matter though, arent these kind of tricks by people in general old news?

Ahh, I assumed the site's layout was a template.

The name like a brand name that's close to something else... Like buying a sany or a wee(not kidding). Unfortunately he never outright claimed to be minetown or an affiliate.

You'd be surprised how much small type can make a legal loophole.
