Lately I've been getting the connection refused: connect message alot and it has gotten to to the point where I cant physically join. I was hoping for an update and that that might fix it. No banana. Any suggestions?

EDIT, just log in 25 times.

1) Minecraft.net is down

2) Restart the browser/game

3) Restart your computer

4) Restart your modem/router

Did you try re-entering the ip?

Yea sometimes if there is a space at the end of the IP it instantly tells you impossible to connect.

try entering the IP completely by hand if this happens. just type in mc.minetown.net

Probably a mistype, spaces count as well.
