Full Out War PVP
Posted similar earlier on wrong forum, Sorry. But Basically Here is the Idea:
Faction Regions:
You have 4 factions with clans within the faction. Divide the world in quarters this is protected faction land for its embers to build on as if it were a creative server.
Neutral Regions
Create Neutral regions between the faction regions (This is the land Factions fight over for control). Define these regions with Lava Rivers or some other way of making them impassable other than the pre-built entry points (In this case bridge). These regions are 24/7 PVP (Though not 24/7 anyone build/destroy).
At the central point of each region create a flag capture type point.
Whatever clan/faction controls the neutral zone can build/fortify in the region.
Disable warping within these Neutral regions and make them large enough that the walk from the entry point to the center takes a decent amount of RL time to do. This will prevent a player who dies from quickly re-entering a battle and also make them vulnerable if they try to walk the distance alone.

War Play:
Daily within a defined time factions/clans within a faction can declare on an enemy control neutral region. Only one claim per day can be made against a neutral zone.
Daily at a predefined time for a pre-defined limit, Build and destroy perms are given to all, and sides defend or attack in an attempt to control the center point/flag/beacon.
At the end of the war period, whoever controls the point has built rights within the region all other do not (PVP is still active, though control over the region is locked so those with builder rights have a massive advantage).
Considerations:
This sort of server would promote organized PVP play as it would take a large army to attack and win control of a well-fortified capital. Because of the distance to walk to the battles, attacking sides would be best server marching on a target together to avoid getting picked off by groups of defenders, but also more easily discovered in route….
Would want to prevent lava being used as a defense or weapon as it will make a mess.
Would probably want to allow TNT to be purchased at a high price though not easily made.
Add cannons, blunderbusses and other cool weapons unless that’s tekkit only.
