The return of book contests is upon us! This time, tell us your own winter or holiday story. It could range from your creative holiday list, to your plans to find Santa Claus, or making a snowangel in Los Angeles. Let your creative mind do the magic while you earn a chance at winning 15,000 MT Credits!

Rules

• Books will only be considered if they are written with a winter or holiday theme
  
• Do NOT use any vulgar or offensive words, phrases, or terms in your book
  
• All books must be submitted by December 25 at 12:00AM (Easter Time) - absolutely no late submissions
  
• Entires must be original - copying others' work will not be taken lightly
  
• Limit of one book per player
  

Directions

To get to the event site, go the Event Server and type /warp Books. On the right, you will find a sign that says if you right click it, you will receive 1 book and quill... so do that! (Please Note - To prevent people from getting an overflow of books for any reason, there is a 12 hour cooldown on this sign). Your book should be a minimum of 5 pages, and at this point there is NO maximum. Once you are done with perfecting your book, SIGN THE BOOK CLOSED! Then, throw it down the chute for it to be collected. If for some reason it is not, read the troubleshooting signs at the event site.

Prizes

First: 15,000 MT Credits

Second: 10,000 MT Credits

Third: 5,000 MT Credits

All winning entries will also be copied and saved in a future library in the Event Server!

Judging will begin promptly and I hope to get the results to you before January. Good luck, and happy writing!

If I write a story set in winter, but nothing to do with christmas, can that still be counted?

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing it will be counted.

Don't forget - you can participate in this event any time between now and Christmas Day!! And if you're ever bored on the main server, grab a friend and head on over to the event server together and you can each write a book. It'll make you feel all fuzzy inside!

Finished my book.

However, it won't go in the chest as the IC's have been disabled.

Nor can I open the chest to put the book in, of course.
