Hello, everyone. I'm here to tell you about a wonderful little online game that took more of my attention than pretty much all my teachers ever since I was first able to access a computer.
No, not Pokémon.
This game was called FREE RIDER. In it, you controlled (usually) a bike, and completed courses.
One brilliant aspect of the game was to create your OWN levels...practically drawing the map.
This was fantastic for me, as I could spend hours creating a wonderfully crafted map and then playing it.
After rediscovering this game a few days back, I'd like to see what the creative might of Minetown can come up with.
Designing a map is ridiculously simple, so I'll assume you people can get by without me telling you that the 'line' tool draws a line.
ANYWAY, over the next two weeks Ima run a competition - to come up with the most fun map to play!
You can design one HERE.
To enter, SAVE your track (underneath the screen) and them post your code here, hidden in a spoiler. I say spoiler, because otherwise the code will spam the page up, somewhat.
Long story short, in the next two weeks you must design a wonderful map. Best map (as played by moi) wins 10,000MTC <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
Good luck <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f642.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":)">:)</object>
Oh, and
^Another reference to my ole childhood <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>
Any tracks posted..have to be your own. Don't go copying someone else's because you're a lazy git <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>
