No idea what the hell this is but it's happening far too much lately:



Happened when I've disconnected from the server and tried to reconnecting, and when I've just loaded up Minecraft. Restarting my computer doesn't help. It's not my network - I've tried on three different routers and its the same thing. Restarting my Minecraft doesn't help.

It's happened around 5 times in the past 3 days that's meant I've had to go on something else (BF3, LoL, etc.) and it's getting too frequent.

Lomanic has already seen this, has no idea. Told me to ask on the support forums. Yeah.

(I know a 503 response is an unavailable service, just not sure if its the login servers or MT servers.)

Its the login servers. Out of our control =(

I'm getting the same thing trying to connect to the Minetown Tekkit server. :/ However I don't think it's Minetown because my private Tekkit server is giving me the same error.

Its the login servers, like people have already said. They are hosted by amazon, and I wonder why Mojang doesn't just drop the bad amazon hosters for another hoster.

Bookmark the site help.mojang.com and you can see the current status of all Minecraft services.
