The Wii U is actually a lot of fun to play, graphics are a lot better than the Wii. I got to Demo the new Rayman game and gotta say it was a lot of fun. That's awesome! Cross compatibility gaming is something that should be more popular nowadays, not meaning cross-company but PC/Xbox, PS Vita/PS3, etc.

But this thread ain't for the Xbox, Microsoft, etc. So I've yet to actually even play the Wii U, so how much better overall is the Wii U than its sleek and sexy predecessor?

I think it's much better. I got to try it out at Gamestop and the Gamepad is quite comfortable. And come on, all of the wonderful first party Nintendo titles in GLORIOUS HD!

Unfortunately, no Gamecube support. At all. Although Nintendo's eShop might maybe probably will be getting some Gamecube games to download.
