Hello Minetown! This is an update for this section of the forums regarding warp requests.
Please only submit Warp Requests in-game through the Petition System.
With the latest Warps Plugin Update there were a few changes to how the staff has to create and resolve warp petitions.
1: We cannot make the warps if the requesting player is offline: The staff is now required to 'give' the warp to the player requesting it so we make have a record of who owns what warps. The give command only works if you are online in the server. The petition system gives us notification if you are online or offline when we go through them. If you are offline, we will assign it to 'Warp' until we catch you online while doing petitions. This means the more you are online, the greater chance of it being made sooner.
2: Warp Update: If you only want a warp moved to a new location, this can be done while you are offline. The plugins now allows for a warp to be moved without altering any of the properties of ownership or invited players. Be sure to specify in you PE that you want the warp name Moved to the new location.
3: Warp Search: This existed before, but lately some people need a reminder to check to see if a warp exists before requesting the warp name. simply type /warp search warpname to see if there are any similar results. You can also search by owner, keyword or partial word if you wish to find other players shops.
4: Rule Reminder: Just a reminder, if you are NOT a $20+ Donor, you are not entitled to any warps other than a (1) Town Spawn Warp (for a town you design where the warp area is pre-established with info boards as an absolute minimum) and a (1) Player Shop Warp (shop MUST be set up for use immediately). Note that these warps must be kept public. $20+ Donors have no (real) limit to public or private warps.
5: Unused Warps: If you have warps you no longer wish tor have due to not using them any longer, please make a PE requesting we delete it. Some other people may be wanting to use the same name and if it isnt being used, it would be courteous to allow the name to be made available again. The staff occasionally does go through the 1280+ pages of warps and clear some that are obviously no longer used or the owners have been permabanned. Your help here can help clear some unnecessary things from the server database and help improve game performance. If you have a whole slew of warps you want deleted, feel free to post them in a thread in the warp request board and just make a PE saying you put in a post here to make it easier for you and us.
