I think $200 are fine without jumpto, to be honest. It is an incredibly useful command and in my opinion should be left to those more helpful to the server.

As if 200 isn't already a lot of money? I'm surprised by all the issues this server gets despite the extreme amount of money from donations it is receiving.

You have no idea how hard it is to run a server. Mine broke in a week lol.

That's probly because you didn't know how to run it...

Yes servers cost a bit to run, but you can have the best hardware in the world and the server will still lag...

If you actually think how many different connections, files, chunks, etc it needs to load. Then add the idea that it needs to be able to change anything without warning (e.g. Block placement) and the fact it is running multiple different worlds, AND all the plugins (which are somewhat unstable to run together), now tell me. How much would it cost to buy a piece of hardware that would handle all this and not have a slight degree of lag?

I agree, right now the server is ver laggy and buggy, but that is to be expected with a new hosting system and hardware and new updates comming out... It will soon settle down and run more smoothly... Hopefully...

Regarding kits, can I suggest a /kit grass (with the current kit grass renamed to kit bonemeal) and have some grass blocks?

You can get 4 stacks of Grass Blocks and 4 stacks of Stone with /kit Landscape <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f609.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=";)">;)</object>
Money doesn't write code, it doesn't configure plugins (nevermind figuring out which plugins are the best), it doesn't keep hardware infinitely from breaking, and it doesn't force people to use good sense. Donations are helpful and appreciated, but money will never compete with the benefit that comes from people investing time and skill into the server.
I think a lot of people are missing the point of donations. YOU make a donation to the server. Lets think here, what is the difference between donations, and buying? When buying something, you are expecting that product to be yours. When you donate, you should never expect something in return. When you donate to Minetown, you are not "buying" what is listed on the donations page. Sawine did not have to give you any of that for donating. But, he obviously felt that for your generous donation, he wanted to GIFT you. Meaning. Don't always expect something in return.

I don't donate, because i don't deem these commands necessary.
Also, you should not just donate to get something. You should donate to help the server out.
1) derp

2) what the dragon said
I think this is kinda getting out of hand,

Mod Lock?

I recon we are lucky to get perks in the first place <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f61b.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":p">:p</object>

People pay money to the server to help it keep on running, I know that XCoaster is an extremely high donator, but I always see that he will donate cash every once in a while, this is very nice of him to do this, it shows that he cares about this server and doesnt want it to fall when emergency strikes! If theres an issue with the server like the last time, when we had to get the server moved, your cash is what is getting the server to come back to life, instead of crashing and never being fixed. Since money is the way everything works these days, if you dont want to donate, thats fine but when you do donate, you can have the feeling of being helpful, and helping to upgrade and fix the server! <3

Dont lock it, this thread is actually going somewhere.
Everyone who is a donator (me included) should feel lucky that we get perks for donating in the first place.

I think that this a great example of a person who donates to help the server. Not to get the perks. That said, it would be cool if we got a few more kits (like 1 or 2), but i don't have any ideas, so everyone else can come up with those
I certainly do appreciate the things that are gifted to me for thanks for donating <object class="emojione" data="https://resources.enjin.com/1489581540/themes/core/images/emojione/svg/1f600.svg?0" type="image/svg+xml" standby=":d">:d</object>

I still stand by /jumpto = $300 perk.

But one or two more kits, WOULD be nice. I myself won't be donating until after Christmas any further (£140 to spend on presents for friends/family).

This may be a bit of an unusual idea...but, perhaps add some sort of board to show how the money is being spent, so people don't think they're just handing over cash to some guy in canada so he can wash his pants.

I have never ran a server myself, only been staff, but I'm sure there's costs such as hosting the server, or renting the data center. Perhaps new hardware is being bought?

I reckon some people would feel better about donating seeing EXACTLY hwo they are helping out.

But, anyway, perhaps now this thread has become rather tense, we could wind down by suggestion some (practical) perks? Certainly, not all of us are as selfless as Xcoaster (as proven by the existence of this thread) so perhaps the added incentive would mean those who have currently donated a lower amount ($5-30) may save up to donate.
