I heard an argument in game the other day about the Fullbright mod. Someone was saying a mod said it was ok, but another person was pretty adamant that it was cheating.

My question is, is it allowed? I've never used it, but the player who was saying it allowed made it sound pretty helpful.

No, "full bright" or cave light mods are not allowed and punishable by ban.

What he said* i said something otherwise to someone asking, but in terms of how it would be used, it is deemed as a bannable mod as it would be used to light places players would otherwise be blind in giving distinct mining, pvp, and exploration advantages.
