Hey guys it's me joey_dev, I figured I might post this thread out here since I have gained a lot of friends on here. I know some of you guys already know my Journey of knew legs, so I figured I might give you more detail of what is happening along with a website I made. :d Hope you guys will check it out and enjoy the little video I made of my life. Thank you so much :d PS My mother wrote the little blurb below.

Please help! Our adopted son Joey Funderburk (joey_dev) needs new legs!
The legs Joey has now are getting old and do not fit him correctly anymore. He has grown in height and weight over several years, and as a result he is now 25 lbs over the weight limit that the legs were designed to hold. Consequently, he is falling almost daily. We are very grateful that he hasn't been seriously injured yet from these falls. His doctor has informed us that it is very dangerous to continue using legs designed for someone much smaller, because the knees tend to let go. When this happens, he falls backward and can not catch himself.
Here's where we need your help. New legs are $120,000. Our insurance has denied our claim, informing us that they will only provide new legs when there has a change in Joey's medical condition and not, as in this case, because of Joey's growth. After two appeals to the insurance company, both of which were denied, we have decided not to let the grass grow under Joey's feet.
We know and trust that God will provide, as He always has! We also believe that we must do everything within our power to raise these funds. To that end, Joey is currently selling Krispy Kreme Donuts in front of local stores several days a week to raise the money he needs. We sincerely appreciate any assistance that you can provide.
God Bless!
Signed,
Joey’s Mother, Chrystal Funderburk
Thank you all for being so nice to me. It has been a pleasure being apart of this server. Sorry if I haven't been on much, it's because I'm out everyday selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts to raise the money, and sitting on the couch is not going to do that :p I will always consider this server my home server.
I will be posting updates regarding what I'm doing and how my goal is going on the website. www.joeyslegs.org
