just a quick question. Anyone know how rare it is? Is it gold-esque rare, iron-esque rare, diamond esque? If its that rare, it should be sold in the nether shop because it looks kickass.

Draed, it will probably be similar to redstone but with 1/4 earnings (1 lapis instead of 4 redstone)

@Merry, I know where its found, but that doesn't tell me the rarity of it. Planning some pixel art ahead of time, need to figure out reasonable materials...

through what i saw in a new single player map useing mcedit it is in fact quite rare i would have to say that (in my opinion) that its not as rare as diamond but redstone i have to say.

On this temp server, I fuck with you not, I found more diamonds than lapis lazuli. Anyone who was with me on the vent (by vent I meant mumble >.>) while I was doing my mining experiment heard me shout out "DIAMOND!" a lot more than "BLUE STONE!". For every 5 diamond I found, probably ended up 1~2 lapis.
