I cannot connect to MT since it did a /server creative (from the main server). I received the message of downloading terrain, then got disconnected and no longer login to MT. My son can still connect from his computer sitting next to me.

I receive either the message Connection timed out: connect

or

Internal exception: java.net.socketTimeoutException: Read timed out.

I am not having issues with other servers.

Have you tried connecting to create.minetown.net and then just typing /server main ?

Just a hunch, but try disabling server textures.

Looks as though the server has timed out. I'm working on restarting it.

Minecraft has reported between 20 and 50 players on the server all evening, yet I still get the timeout message.

That number is the number of people connected to the whole hub (Main+PvP+Creative+Wildlands+Events)

We are having this issue because the last server we were on (creative) is not responding and it is not able to default us to he hub.
