Skins like Razor's are the hardest to do, because they almost solely consist of variants of a single colour. You have no blocks to work with in Minecraft to make those distinctions.

Why worry about making a template file when you can just use Nova Skin, or Miner Shoes when Nova Skin is offline. I use Nova Skin for all statue builds, its prefect so many features in that tool. Miner Shoes helps you get the skin file for any player (player name is case sensitive) , other then that Miner Shoes is pretty worthless.
