I think i found your problem >_> Ok, well type into search in your windows button "downloads" then search for the snapshot and right click it then look for the rename option, and remove numbers.

please help me out i have no idea wat u r talking about cos all the download gave me was a zip folder titled minecraft

Google 'How to install a minecraft snapshot' and MANY tutorials will appear.

see the problem is it only comes up with downloads and some other stuff that does not say snapshot

You have only DOWNLOADED the file, according to what you have said. That means the file is on your computer, but you still have to place it in the minecraft folder to allow it to work. Is your computer a Mac (made by apple) or a Windows (made by many companies.)?
