Sorry about the title but I'm not entirely sure what this thing is actually called.

I am talking about those 4 little buttons and the IM thing in the bottom-right of the website where the notifications pop up.

Anyway, for some reason it's a bit dodgy (for me anyway), as in it doesn't always show up and I can only see the little notification bubble if there are any! Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, it's very hit and miss, for me at least, and it seems to have been getting worse, as in it is happening more often.

I am using Google Chrome and it is happening more often than it used to now. I opened the website on IE 9 and it seemed to be working, however because I use Chrome the whole time I only know that it is a consistent problem on there!

Any thoughts on why this is happening and a possible solution would be greatly appreciated!
